Meet Your Instructor — Faye Palmqvist
I’m a pastry chef, recipe developer, and baking educator with a deep passion for flavour, quality, and technique. After training at Le Cordon Bleu in London, I gained hands-on experience in renowned kitchens — including The Savoy — before opening my own pâtisserie, Sweet Elements, where we created thousands of handcrafted cakes and desserts with clean, flavour-focused ingredients.
That experience shaped how I teach today — combining real-world pastry knowledge with the kind of guidance I wish I had when I was starting out. My masterclasses are designed to bring you the clarity, confidence, and technique I’ve gained from both the kitchen and the classroom.
Following the birth of my daughter, I shifted my focus to teaching and creating resources for serious home bakers who care about flavour, sustainability, and intention in their bakes. My ethos is simple: real ingredients, no shortcuts, and recipes that actually teach you the why — not just the how.
These masterclasses bring together everything I’ve learned, in a format that supports you whether you’re just starting out or ready to elevate your skills to a pâtisserie standard at home.

Do I need professional experience to join?
Will I need fancy equipment?
Are the ingredients easy to find?
What if I don’t bake often — is this too advanced?
Can I do this even if I sell my bakes?
